RUFF E NUFF was founded in April 2002, Chemnitz/Germany. It is a crew of long-time friends who share a love for music and creative arts, all with different special fields. RUFF E NUFF has since been about living and promoting these various styles. Parties were held, mixtapes released from early on.
Over the years, the Mobbb has tied numerous international contacts, which thanks to the diverse specializations of its members lead to results as diverse as Dancehall deejay Bramma’s first European tour, European tours for Jungle DJs such as Capital J or Krinjah and the German debuts of Dubstep acts like 16bit and Sukh Knight.
Right now, the RUFF E NUFF members keep releasing mixes and the djs are busy in the clubs. As a backbone, the crew hosts three different regular events in Chemnitz, Germany. Dutty Wine, a dancehall/reggae night, Killa Hertz, a party series for mostly Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass, and Kode Dubstep, a dubstep all-nighter that saw a number of German exclusive debuts in its first two years already.
The Mobbb also runs two highly frequented portal sites. Raggajungle.biz and Dubstepmusic.biz each provide news, exclusive monthly showcases, mixes and artist profiles from their respective genres.
